MissionThe Stanford University Mathematical Organization is a student group whose goal is to promote interest in math and foster mathematical community on campus through activities that encourage interaction between students, faculty, and the wider community. We seek to create an environment in which students of many backgrounds feel welcome and supported in pursuing math.While focused on undergraduates, SUMO is open to all Stanford affiliates interested in mathematics, regardless of field of study.
