MissionThe Stanford Medical School Student National Medical Association (SNMA) chapter is committed to eliminating health disparities by working to increase diversity at the Stanford University School of Medicine, reaching out to underserved populations through community service, and strengthening the pipeline through from college student to medical student to house staff to attending physician. The Stanford Chapter strives to work with fellow students, faculty, and administrators to foster a more diverse environment that is enriching, encouraging, and embracing to all Stanford Medical School students. We are also committed to involvement in the underserved areas of the Bay Area in order to provide positive and useful health information as well as contribute positive leadership to the youth community.
