Mission
The Astronomy Club at UCI is an organization open to all majors on campus. We strive to create a humble and friendly environment for those who are interested in the wonders of the cosmos and the beautiful science of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Astronomy Club is a new and ever-evolving club on campus with access to multiple high-end telescopes available for members to view through. Astronomy related events like Astro Trivia and Rocket Launching take place throughout the year. Trips to observatories and campgrounds like Polamor Observatory and Griffith Observatory also take place. For those interested in advancing their knowledge about Astronomy and Astrophysics, Astronomy Club at UCI hosts guest speakers who are currently doing research in the Astro field here at UCI such as graduates and professors. We also like to teach our members about the constellations, stars, and other night sky objects!
