Mission
The Be Well OC Mobile Response Team comprises two Crisis Intervention Specialists (CIS) who provide on-campus assessment and crisis stabilization services for mild to moderate behavioral health needs (7 days per week, 8 am-8 pm PST). Crisis Intervention Specialists are specifically trained in community assessment and stabilization best practices to effectively intervene for those experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. Calls for service can be sent to the non-emergency line at 949-824-5233. The Mobile Response model utilizes a voluntary approach that fosters trust and long-term engagement with clients and community members. Mobile team members collaborate with campus and community partners to connect clients with the right services, which may include non-medical transportation to support access to appropriate resources.
