Mission
Birding at UCI is an official Audubon Campus Chapter founded in 2023 that aims to foster an inclusive community of UCI students interested in birdwatching and the outdoors. BAU has partnered with various local and UCI-affiliated ecological organizations including UCI Nature and Sea and Sage Audubon to provide unique volunteering and educational experiences for its members.
Membership Benefits
Members ($10/academic year, $5/quarter) have access to exclusive weekly trips to places including publically accessible nature preserves, state parks, and the UC Natural Reserve System local marsh. Membership also provides students with access to a weekly newsletter, coveted ecology-related volunteering and job opportunities, club merchandise, and discounted admission to non-member events.
