Our mission is to provide a community that empowers Black artists, while also advocating for the equality and rights of all Black creatives. Black Door produces and showcases all that encompasses the Black narrative. Black Door aims to allow a safe space that supports individuals in articulating the intricacies and delicacies of one's Blackness. Black Door is a space that welcomes all performers, managers, visual artists, and theatre practitioners that identify within the African diaspora. We welcome the support and engagement of the entire UCI Arts, and UCI community!"
