Mission
The mission of the Charlie Dunlop School of Biological Sciences is to create new knowledge about biological processes and principles, to disseminate this information by educating students about factual knowledge and the experience of discovery, and to contribute to the public discussion about the nature and role of science in society. Research within the school encompasses all levels of biological organization, from molecular and biochemical to global biological processes. It encompasses both fundamental discovery and application in areas beneficial to society.
