Mission
FGP seeks to foster an inclusive UCI Law community that supports first-generation, economically underrepresented and/or non-traditional law students as well as their support networks including partners, family, and communities. FGP is an organization that not only provides a shared space to reflect on these experiences, but also fosters academic success, self-care and personal support for our members' personal well-being and professional aptitude. FGP members further seeks to build on UCI Law's goal of building a diverse law school student body, and offer programming that creates a more diverse law pipeline. FGP is centered on principles that support these goals rather than a single identity.
