Mission
The mission of Language and Linguistics Club is to expose members of the UC Irvine community to the beauty and science of language and its interactions with culture and history. We seek to create an open space for students to discuss any topics in the field of linguistics, from their social impacts to the underlying syntactic structures. The events associated with our club will emphasize linguistic and cultural diversity as well as an increased awareness of the underlying grammatical structures and features of languages other than English.
