Mission
The purpose of the Prison Education Project at UCI is to educate, engage, and empower the communities affected by the American Legal System and UC Irvine students to bring this social justice issue at the forefront of student conversations. As a club, we have three core values: education, social justice, and political advocacy. These values are interconnected and are a guide for our club projects, fundraising efforts, and educational material to ensure we address the United States' social and political aspects of the carceral system.
