Mission
Established in 2016, Project Renegade is a project team based at the University of California, Irvine
(UCI). Composed of dancers from across the Irvine Dance Community, our mission exceeds
artistic endeavors; we aspire to provide a community for dancers to immerse themselves in the
art form and embrace the joy derived from dance. As a testament to our ethos, we aim to focus
on the enjoyable aspects of dance: creating a space where our members can have fun and
using dance as an outlet from the stressful nature of competitive dance. Project Renegade is
committed to upholding the essence of passion and creativity with a lively atmosphere that
fosters a sense of enjoyment for all dancers involved.
