Mission
The Mission of the Umoja Community Org. is to provide critical resources dedicated to enhancing the cultural and educational experiences of African Americans and other underrepresented students. This organization intends to offer: orientations, academic/career/personal counseling, one on one tutoring, academic progress reports, mentorship, field trips, cultural and personal enrichment events/workshops, and incentives (application fee waiver, book vouchers, bus passes, scholarships, meal vouchers, etc.).
