Mission
In collaboration with UCI CARE, the Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) program is an ongoing initiative that enables SFL members to come together and educate themselves on and support their chapter on topics related to harm-reduction and power-based violence. Representatives from each fraternity and sorority act as VIP Chairs to facilitate various awareness programs for their chapter members and for the overall community. Through activities, conversations, and guest speakers, VIP Chairs will explore topics including bystander intervention, healthy relationships, trauma-informed response, and university resources.

The VIP program is comprised of community leaders committed to personal growth and empowerment but individuals who are trained by campus and community professionals who develop practical experience in counseling and educational programming.
