Mission
VITA at UCI offers free income tax return assistance to those in need in the community. We provide assistance to people in need, including low-income people, limited English-speaking people, people with disabilities, and senior people. We serve UCI students, staff, and the nearby communities in need of tax assistance. We help people to correctly file their income tax returns and to understand their tax benefits, which help people to keep their hard-earned money because of our free tax filing service and being able to use every available tax benefit. We also offer UCI students opportunities to contribute to the community and gain hands-on experience.
