East Asian Caucus is a space composed of selected student facilitators, liaisons of East Asian serving registered student organizations (RSOs), and members of the East Asian community at the University of California, Berkeley.
The mission of the East Asian Caucus at UC Berkeley is to create a unified coalition among the greater East Asian community in which we collectively make positive impacts, strengthen communications within and across the East Asian community, improve community representation, and work to identify and meet community members’ needs. This Caucus aims to collaborate with East Asian-serving RSOs, campus departments, and individual community members to ensure fair representation of the diverse identities, experiences, and needs that dwell within the umbrella of “East Asian”. This Caucus will serve as a safe space for East Asian community members and, thus, will not tolerate any form of hate, aggression, xenophobia, or discrimination.
