MissionThe purpose of the chapter is to uplift women, youth, and families throughservice. The National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc. is organizedand shall be operated exclusively for charitable, religious and educationalpurposes including, making distributions to organizations that qualify as exemptorganizations under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (orthe corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).NACWC shall endeavor to: promote interracial understanding, justice and peaceamong all people; raise the standard of the home and advance the moral,economic, social and religious welfare of the family; promote the education ofwomen and girls through local, state and regional activities; and foster and protectthe constitutionally guaranteed civil rights for all people including the right ofwomen and children to work and obtain equal opportunity in all areas ofemployment. The Women of Collegiate Chapter Name of National Associationof Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc. focus will be on the youth of the City Namecommunity and any previously mentioned endeavors in the purpose.
