MissionThe Robobrawl Committee organization aims to foster and serve the robotics communityby providing opportunities for students and community members to learn about and participate incombat robotics. Over the course of the year, we host weekly workshops in order to discuss thebasics and introduce newcomers to the art of combat robotics. Furthermore we host buildsessions exclusively for our members to aid in the construction of their robots with technicalsupport, guidance and materials, as well as free viewing of the 30lb Robobrawl competition.Additionally we provide professional experiences within our organization, throughvarious technical projects to improve upon the competition. These are worked on throughout theyear and improve the quality of the competition.We give back to our community by allowing free participation and attendance to our 1lbcompetitions to local hobbyists and students, further fostering a combat robotics communitywithin UIUC.
