Community Service & Volunteering
Unidad aims to demystify professional development and aid marginalized Latine students in overcoming barriers they face at an institution like UC Berkeley. Reaching higher education is only the beginning of a lot of student's careers or academic ambitions, and our organizational mission is to guide students in clarifying their professional paths and acquire the necessary skills to succeed, through workshops and community-building. We are here to foster a sense of belonging for all Latine students, particularly those that identify as LGBTQ+, first-generation, undocumented, or are marginalized in any other sense.
