Undergraduate Moot Court Team
Law
Moot court is a student organization that simulates Supreme Court appellate advocacy, helping undergraduate students prepare for law school and learn valuable legal advocacy and writing skills. Students compete in oral arguments, with an optional brief writing component, in tournaments run by the American Moot Court Association (AMCA), which releases a fictional case problem on the 1st of May each year.

In the 2023-2024 season, UC Berkeley's moot court team won the AMCA National Championship in oral advocacy, the first-ever student-run team to take the title.
