Colleges Against Cancer: Our main goal is to bring the community together through offering support for anyone who has been affected by cancer in any way. We work with the Berkeley community through events and programs to raise cancer awareness.
Colleges Against Cancer is dedicated to saving lives from cancer. CAC focuses on three pillars: Advocacy, Education, and Survivorship. Through educating UC Berkeley students, as well as the public, we strive to increase advocacy for finding a cure for cancer. We also focus on hosting support groups for those who have been affected by cancer, whether that be personally or through a friend or family member. Whether it is writing letters to Congressmen, organizing community events, or teaching students about preventing cancer, this organization enables college students to battle cancer on their campus.
