Mexican Association of Students at Berkeley
International & Multicultural
The Mexican Association of Students at Berkeley's (MEXASB) mission is to provide a network for students who share an interest in Mexico. In particular, it aims to:

1. Actively promote communication and collaboration of the UC Berkeley Community who share a common cultural interest in Mexico, Mexican-Americans, and US-Mexico Relations.
2. Recognize issues of interest to the Mexican community in the University and act as a platform to address those issues effectively.
3. Encourage and promote communications between the MEXASB community and Berkeley Alumni in Mexico.
4. Support incoming Mexican students in the often tough transition to life in their new academic home, as well as in a new city (and often country).
5. Serve as a platform helping to connect Mexican students with scholars, employers, and organizations working on issues related to Mexico.
6. Promote cultural activities traditionally important to the community of Mexican, Mexican-American, and Chicanx students or those otherwise interested in Mexican heritage and culture.
7. Provide a space for academic discussion on issues related to Mexico and US-Mexico relations, as well as for the dissemination of academic work done by the community of Mexican students (broadly construed) at UC Berkeley.
8. Support prospective Mexican students interested in attending UC Berkeley by connecting them to current members and alumni that may provide suggestions and guidance.
