Environmental
The objective of The Environmentalist magazine is to educate Berkeley students and locals about the various environmental issues in Berkeley and the greater Bay Area. The student-run magazine will cover student and University actions on these environmental issues through a multimedia format. It places an emphasis on investigative journalism that aims to give a voice to marginalized communities impacted by climate change and keep Berkeley students and University administration accountable for their ecological footprint and contribution to climate change. It also aims to cultivate a community of environmental reporters, photographers, and designers equipping them with the skills to become professional environmental journalists.
