The Georgia Tech 5 Rivers Fishing Club is a member of Trout Unlimited's 5 Rivers program, which is a network of college clubs focused on fly fishing and the conservation of our waterways. Our club provides a place for all fishermen regardless of experience, providing instruction for those of all skill levels. The club hosts many instructional events led by industry professionals that teach everything from casting a fly rod to on-the-water events where members will be able to catch their first fish or fine-tune their skills! In addition, the club fosters conservation initiatives that benefit our rivers and streams, as well as the communities that revolve around them. We partner with local Trout Unlimited chapters as well as other nonprofits like Chatahoochee Riverkeeper to help keep our waterways healthy. Through both these missions, we strive to share our passion for fly fishing with all Georgia Tech students in a fun and sustainable way.
