The Georgia Tech Chamber Choir is Tech's select, mixed vocal ensemble. Founded in 1998, the choir has established itself as one of the premiere college vocal ensembles in the Southern United States. Singers are selected through audition, and the Chamber Choir attracts the finest choral musicians on the Tech campus. Its members are all-state-level singers who have extensive background in ensemble singing and sight reading. The Chamber Choir performs challenging literature from many time periods and styles, especially emphasizing on Renaissance, Baroque, and modern works.
Each semester, Chamber Choir also hosts Pitch-a-Piece: a student-run concert of a cappella music from a wide variety of genres and time periods. Chamber Choir tours yearly, with past destinations including Cyprus in Southeastern Europe; San Francisco, California; and most recently, New York, New York at Carnegie Hall.

Auditions for Chamber Choir take place at the beginning of each Fall semester. Audition information is posted to our website near the beginning of Fall. Feel free to contact the chamber choir officers to ask any questions or express interest in the group!
