To enhance the community of the Ph.D. students in design and related fields at Georgia Tech. To foster an exchange of ideas and research among Ph.D. students in design at different stages of their course of study. To create an intellectual environment for these exchanges to take place, by providing a venue for presentation and by encouraging a spirit of community and camaraderie. To promote the research ongoing within the Ph.D. program in the College of Design nationally and internationally.
