DSGT is the largest data science organization on campus. Our motto is "Data science with a focus on the community."
We aim to create a community of data science students who are passionate about giving back to their own communities. Our members come from a variety of academic backgrounds, and we firmly believe anyone can be a data scientist. We do three main activities as an organization:
1) 12-week long Bootcamp, a highly specialized and rigorous data science curriculum to help new members learn data science quickly
2) Projects that are community-oriented and allow students to apply their data science and machine learning skills
3) Our flagship annual data science hackathon, Hacklytics
If you are looking for a club of like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds that is wholly community-centric, this is the club for you!
