The John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways (JLSLP) equips participants with the skills they need to make meaningful changes within their community. In addition, the Pathways aim to inspire students to steadily increase their leadership capacities using the Aspen Leadership Development Index as the framework by which students approach leadership. Students pursuing this leadership path will be able to enhance their leadership skills with an emphasis on social change. It is the mission of the JLSLP to prepare participants to be change agents in their community. All Georgia Tech students are eligible to apply for the JLSLP at any time within their college career! Students earn pathway levels of learning by attending workshops, retreats, service projects, and programs offered by JLSLP and other Georgia Tech departments. Student progress is managed through the Engage website. Students who participate in the program will be able to review their progress throughout the program at any time. Students will have the opportunity to Engage in the pathways throughout their college experience. Our program is offered to all students undergrad and graduate students! Mission: The John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways are dedicated to cultivating visionary and ethical leaders who are empowered to inspire positive change in their communities and beyond. Through comprehensive programming, experiential learning and mentorship students will gain a greater understanding of their strengths and personal values. The program is designed to shape individuals into influential leaders who champion innovation, foster collaboration, and drive sustainable solutions for a better future. ATTENTION CAMPUS PARTNERS: To streamline the process and to aid with event tracking, we have updated Engage to include supplemental questions for all campus partners to complete to ensure each program aligns with our leadership framework, the Aspen Index. Now, when you tag events to count in the pathways, you will answer a questionnaire selecting the leadership category and capacities and listing your program's learning outcomes. We will then review your submission and determine if the event counts towards the Pathways.
