The purpose of LOGRAS at GT shall be: 1. To promote the academic, cultural, professional, and social development of its members and GT graduate students at large. 2. To develop and foster a culture of leadership and social and political consciousness among the members and GT graduate students. 3. To actively recruit Hispanic/Latino and other underrepresented students into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 4. To support the recruitment and facilitate the transition of new Hispanic/Latino graduate students, including international students, to GT. 5. To strengthen the social, cultural, and academic bonds between the Hispanic/Latino community at GT.
