March of Dimes at GT is a chapter of the national nonprofit March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.org) which combats the morbidities and mortalities of mothers and infants. Georgia is historically known for inadequate care of mothers and infants compared to the United States averages, and Atlanta is even worse in terms of premature birth, health disparities, and maternal morbidities. Through March of Dimes, our organization utilizes direct outreach, advocacy through legislation and education, and fundraising to fight these inequities and support mothers and infants within Atlanta.
