Academic
The purpose of MEGA is to support and develop the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Students academically, professionally, and socially. MEGA serves as a liaison between faculty, administrators, and students. Activities include preparing PhD students for their qualifying exam and proposal, assisting the department with recruiting future grad students, hosting guest speakers from industry and national labs, providing various social events for students, and representing the graduate student perspective on various committees within the department.
