Naturally Me aims to allow students to express their passion for natural hair and establish a continuum of exploring more about what it means or how it looks to wear it as a crown with such pride. This continuum of learning will: emphasize the importance of the history behind natural hair, change the stigma of natural hair, and help others create a personalized relationship with their natural hair. Naturally Me serves as an opportunity to create an environment that allows students to take part in endless discussions/activities such as workshops, partnerships or collaborations, and panels. Additionally, it will create an inclusive, communal space that encourages both men and women who are willing to educate themselves about the maintenance of natural hair as well as individuals who would be willing to learn about our culture if interested.
