QAPPA hopes to tackle LGBTQIA+ health disparities and social justice issues in STEM through outreach and education at the undergraduate level, as well as the social, professional, and academic development of our members. Five pillars define our mission: [Q]ommunity, Allyship, Philanthropy, Professional Development, and Academic Support. QAPPA welcomes anyone interested in sexual and gender minority topics! Our regular events throughout the semester include guest speakers, attending conferences, and an article-based journal club. Meetings for the Spring '24 semester will be every Friday from 6:00-7:00 PM! Join our Discord, follow our Instagram, and sign up for our listserv for more information.
