Salt and Light Christian Club is a student organization focused on welcoming believers from all walks of faith and circumstances. We are zealous for our Lord Jesus Christ and seek to carry out his will of sharing his love and grace with all whom we encounter. As the Bible states, we are the salt and light of the earth. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden, in the same way, we believe that the light of Jesus Christ must shine brightly in the darkness through his disciples. Our vision is to shine our light before others in order to glorify our Father who lives in heaven and to bring others 2 Cor 4:6 For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed I the face of Christ. Matthew 5:13-16 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Salt and Light Christian Club is a student organization intent on sharing the joy and love of our Lord Jesus Christ to all people from various walks of faith and life circumstances. We are zealous for shining the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ to enlighten believers through a thorough understanding of the word (2 Cor 4:6). Our vision is to fulfill the words of Matthew 5:13-16 where Jesus stated that we are the salt of the earth. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden, in the same way, we believe that we must let our light shine before others so that God, our Father who lives in Heaven, may be glorified. We are a diverse group of students dedicated to fellowship, community, volunteerism and becoming more seasoned disciples of Jesus Christ.`
