Social Justice
The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is a student-led chapter open to all GT students. Contrary to the name, you do not have to be an American, in the military, or an engineer to join. Instead, the focus of our club is to improve the professional skills of members and connect them with industry leaders, especially in the A/E/C industry. We help members polish their profile through resume reviews, talks from industry professionals, mock interviews, and the like. We aim to provide events every month, such as workshops, speakers, or site visits. Because we are supported by SAME Atlanta Post, we are able to host these events free of charge for students. An additional perk as a student member is free admission to SAME Atlanta Post events. With the Atlanta Post and SAME national, we have a strong network of professionals who are eager to see our members succeed. The SAME Chapter is an inclusive organization for anyone interested in the defense industry, and we hope you become a part of it!
