The purpose of StORM Club is to:
To educate the local community to increase awareness and understanding of meteorological events.
To provide educationally enriching experiences to student members in the field of meteorology, while assisting in the professional development and continuing education of chapter members (including student members, faculty members, and members from the professional community).
To allow for opportunities for interaction and networking for students with faculty members, and with professional meteorologists, climatologists, and hydrologists in the local area. Opportunities are also possible for interaction with scientists, educators, writers, and other professionals who give presentations to the chapter.
