The purpose of Women’s Book Club is to:
Bring together individuals who have an interest in reading and discussing books, particularly those related to women's experiences, perspectives, and issues.
Providing a space for women to discuss books that are important to them and to learn from each other's insights and perspectives.
Creating a sense of community among women on campus who share common interests and values.
Encouraging critical thinking and reflection on a wide range of topics related to women, such as gender roles, social justice, and representation in literature.
Fostering a love of reading and learning among members.
Facilitate the forging of enduring friendships among members.
Share snacks.
We read one book per semester which is chosen democratically at the first meeting. We meet every other week after that to discuss and chat.
