As an organization, we aim to promote student and general public interest in the field of microbiology. Through chapter meetings and community outreach, we educate students and people to disprove the notion that all microbes are harmful to humans. Additionally, through primary and secondary school outreach, we seek to promote healthy sanitary practices and educate younger children on the importance of proper sanitation, all while showing younger students a potential career path in the event that our presentations pique their interest.
