Some goals of Austin Sunshine Camps at The University of Texas at Austin include:
- Foster community among UT students with similar passions to make an impact in Austin community
- Develop student leaders that advocate for inclusive and motivated culture and community on campus
-Train UT student members to be qualified camp counselors to mentor youth of underrepresented communities in Austin OR become fundraising champions for the organization
