Beauties and the Beat is the oldest treble A Cappella group at the University of Texas at Austin. Since its founding in 2013, they have quickly grown and gone on to perform all around the Austin area and to compete around the United States. Beauties and the Beat strives to support women’s and LGBTQIA+ empowerment at UT and in the A Cappella community through their music and performance. Their own members arrange almost their entire repertoire, and Beauties prides themselves on their self-choreographed and self-arranged competition sets.
