Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) Biological Honor Society (Kappa Upsilon Chapter) is an honor and professional society for students of and interested in the biological sciences. Activities are designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, investigation in the biological sciences, and to promote the dissemination of information and new interpretations among students for the life sciences.
As a nationally recognized honor society, we are heavily involved in research and will help you get involved in research at UT Austin. We aspire to have guest speakers at most meetings related to various fields of biology to inform, inspire, and connect. We have frequent socials, volunteer opportunities, game nights, Princeton Review and Kaplan test prep discounts, and more. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the Membership Application form under "Forms," and come to a meeting! Zoom links or locations will be posted prior to each meeting. Membership is not limited to only biology majors - we welcome all life science majors <3
