To plan programs that educate, develop, entertain, and enlighten the students, faculty, and staff of The University of Texas at Austin and the surrounding community. To create a sense of community through programming and leadership experiences for the students at UT Austin. To act as a resource for other student organizations. To provide a student voice in the allocation of student fee money for programming and leadership development.
Campus Events and Entertainment consists of several event planning committees and one event funding board. These committees are: Ancestral Appreciation and Culture Committee, Creative Arts and Theatre Committee, Culture Shock Committee, Events CoSponsorship Board, Distinguished Speakers Committee, Headliners Committee, Mosaic of the Americas Culture Committee, Recreation Committee, Showtime Committee, and Texas Traditions Committee.
Campus Events + Entertainment hosts over 100 events each year.
