Our organization has been a registered student organization with the University of Texas at Austin since 1970. The Chabad Jewish Student Organization strives to promote Jewish culture, holidays, and lifestyle among the UT Jewish student population of around 5,000 students. At any given weekly Sabbath meal, there could be anywhere from 50 to 100 students walk in our doors. Our membership is made up of mostly students, but there are also UT alumni, faculty, and staff that attend our events.
