Communication Council's main purpose is to address student concerns in the Moody College of Communication by fostering and maintaining a strong relationship with administration. Additionally, we facilitate interactions between students, faculty, and staff in the college, represent the college at University-wide events, and serve the city of Austin through our volunteer and community service outreach. We accept new members every semester, and the applications go live on the first day of classes. To meet student needs in the Moody College of Communication through special events, programming, and student services; and,
To represent student opinion on college-specific and campus-wide issues; and
To act as the official liaison between students and administration/faculty within the Moody College of Communication; and,
To promote communication within the Moody College of Communication and throughout the University of Texas at Austin; and,
To encourage interaction among all departments within the Moody College of Communication; and,
To work with recognized student organizations in the Moody College of Communication and the University; and,
To allocate the Dean's funds to Communication Student Organizations; and
To represent Moody students’ needs within the Senate of College Councils
