Girl Up is a United Nations Foundation campaign aimed at empowering young girls in developing countries. It utilizes the energy and passion of girls and boys to raise funds and spread awareness of the campaign. The UT chapter of Girl Up seeks to put on at least one fundraiser and advocacy activity per semester for the United Nations. All funds raised will go to girls in developing countries like Ethiopia, Guatemala, Liberia and Malawi to help with education, health, safety and leadership to empower young girls.
