GirlAdvocates! seeks to encourage and promote the empowerment of girls on an individual, local, and global level.
Created in 2013, GirlAdvocates! works with various organizations in the Austin area to promote female empowerment, education, and self-image. As an organization, we host various fundraising events to raise money for our philanthropy, The Girl Effect, a movement created to leverage the potential of adolescent girls to end poverty for themselves, their communities, their countries, and the world. Additionally, we organize fun social activities in order to promote strong friendships among members.
