To provide leadership and support with academic, personal, and professional development for ethnic minority nursing students at the University of Texas at Austin. Membership is open to any student enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin who is interested in pursuing a nursing career, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, or disability. HNSA will participate in campus events such as Longhorn Halloween along with other volunteer opportunities within the Austin community. We will provide opportunities in leadership and professional development through workshops, networking, and community outreach.
