The UT International Relations and Global Studies Council (IRG Council) aims to help students from the International Relations and Global Studies program better engage in their academic and social experience here at The University of Texas. IRG Council, a student organization, has three areas of focus: professional development, academic advancement, and social experience. The group holds weekly meetings to serve the student body of IRG majors by providing valuable panels and events, academic and career guidance, and track-related interaction. IRG Council also hosts social events, creates an avenue of peer mentorship, and coordinates opportunities for students to be a part of an IRG-specific community.
