Mission Statement
“We, the sisters of the Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated, strive to strengthen Sisterhood amongst women by providing Service and promoting Cultural Diversity to our members and our community, thus securing the bond of kinship for posterity. Kappa Phi Lambda exists to further educate individuals about Pan-Asian culture, while keeping our own identities. We aim for academic excellence, keeping in mind the importance of education and learning as the key to strength, awareness, and fulfillment.”
Brief Description
Kappa Phi Lambda was established on March 9, 1995 in Binghamton, NY at Binghamton University. On November 21, 2009, Kappa Phi Lambda was established at The University of Texas at Austin. Kappa Phi Lambda provides an opportunity for young women to be involved on campus through service and cultural events while joining a sisterhood that develops strong bonds and leadership skills. We host events for the benefit of the campus, educating students about the important of cultural diversity and service.
