Socks for the Sole is a student organization and registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization intended to fundraise and distribute socks and other necessary items to people experiencing homelessness in the greater Austin, TX community. We organize service events throughout the year, such as donation drives and fundraising events in order to accrue the proper funds and needed items to fulfill our purpose. In doing so, we hope to connect students at the University of Texas at Austin with opportunities to serve people experiencing homelessness and to understand the larger social justice issues that contribute to homelessness.
