Tau Beta Pi is an interdisciplinary engineering honor society that recognizes students with high academic achievement as well as a commitment to personal and professional integrity. Established in 1885, TBP is the second oldest collegiate honor society in America.
Founded in 1916, our Texas Alpha chapter promotes community service and fosters a spirit of liberal culture in the Cockrell School of Engineering. We also provide members with various speakers from the engineering field throughout each semester. The Texas Alpha chapter invites the top 1/8 of juniors and 1/5 of seniors by credit hours every fall and spring semester.We do not use HornsLink for communication, registration, or admission.
